Ericsson announced the T68,  its first mobile phone with color display, Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS),  digital imaging & added audio capabilities. This very small, powerful and  sleek mobile phone with a completely new look and feel is developed for GSM 900/1800/1900 and GPRS networks and will be available before the end of 2001.  The T68 has built-in  Bluetooth wireless technology,  making it able to connect with  other devices without cables,  like Ericsson Bluetooth headset, a digital camera  or a computer.  It is the future standard  for  cable free connectivity between devices and has been adopted  by all the major computer & telecom companies. The T68 supports GPRS, so users will enjoy  'always on' connectivity  to the mobile Internet,  with an instant delivery of e-mail and efficient mobile connections to corporate LANs.

Weighing only 85 grams, T68 has a built-in antenna and a large 8 row, 256 color,  display which  opens up  for exciting applications and user friendly operation.

MMS  is a  universally  accepted  standard that  lets the  T68 user send messages  from a mobile phone  with formatted text,  animation, high quality images  and audio. The images can be digital photos taken on the spot and sent in real time to the Web or another mobile phone.

T39

A small and attractive triple band mobile phone.  It has GPRS  for fast data transfer, Bluetooth wireless technology  and  advanced Personal Information Management  (PIM) applications  with calendar,  contacts, tasks and a host of other innovative features.

The Ericsson T39 will be available on all GSM-markets in  2nd quarter 2001. The T39 can be used on GSM 900/1800/1900 networks  in Europe,
Asia/Pacific and  the Americas - everywhere in the world  where GSM
frequency is prevalent. The T39 supports GPRS with one of the fastest available  Internet connection,  through  its own built-in modem,  with instantaneous  delivery of e-mail, and efficient  mobile connections to corporate LANs.

With built-in Bluetooth wireless  technology,T39 communicates with a Bluetooth Headset,  laptop, PDA  or other device through  a radio link instead of a cable.

The breakthrough technology of the T39 gives it a strong performance with regards to stand-by and talk times. The T39 has a standby time of up to 300 hours (12 days) &  a talk time of up to 11 hours.  The T39 also supports  High Speed Data  (HSCSD),  a technology that brings the net to your T39 several times faster than a standard GSM connection.

PIM applications are exciting features built into the T39.  They enable
you to organize  your contacts,  calendar &  tasks in a systematic way
similar to that commonly used in computers.The PIM applications can be effectively synchronized with a laptop or PDA 

The T39 has a WAP 1.2.1 browser giving you fast and secure access to
thousands of informative & interactive Internet-based services, as well
as using it to surf the growing number of WAP sites.

T29 supports WAP 1.1 with added security that is useful when carrying out  financial transactions,  shopping  or  other  operations  where the authentication is required. You can send and  receive e-mail  and surf thousands of informative  and entertaining WAP sites online.

T29 Phone Book  is amazingly easy to use. Start-up / Shutdown shows appear when you switch on and off your T29. You can make your own or download ready-made ones from the Web.

The Profiles feature let you can change several settings at once at the press of a button.  You can also make your  own profiles.  The T29 has several unique design features: small size &  an elegant look and feel Lacquered inlays, silver-toned keys, Availability: Q2, 2001
